Visions for Vacancies: Friendly's in the Holiday Cinemas Plaza
What would you like to see move into this old Wallingford restaurant?

Last week, Wallingford Patch reported that Moe's Southwest Grill filed paperwork with the town seeking a permit to move in to the former Pocket Wireless building at the 956 North Colony Road plaza.
Right next door to the building is a notable eyesore: a vacant Friendly's restaurant that has sat dormant since January of last year.
The business closed during Friendly's bankruptcy period and when the company couldn't reach a lease agreement with the plaza owner, The Record-Journal newspaper reported in January 2012.
We haven't heard of any plans or proposals for this vacant building, but we'd like to hear from you. What type of business would you like to see move in to this old Friendly's restaurant? Share your thoughts in our comments section below.
