Wallingford Assistant Principal Resigns for New Post
He will become principal of a school in Avon.

WALLINGFORD, CT — The Wallingford Board of Education this week accepted the resignation of Lyman Hall High School Assistant Principal David Kimball, who will become principal at Avon Middle School, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.
Kimball became assistant principal at Lyman Hall in 2014 and also served as an assistant principal at Sheehan High School for two years.
The Record-Journal reports that the school board also voted to hire Daniel Bologna as the new assistant principal at Morgan Middle School and accepted the resignation of Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction Shawn Parkhurst, who was hired last week for a similar position in Cheshire that will pay him about $10,000 less annually.
