Wallingford Patch received email confirmation from Boston Marathon runner Diane Keenan, of Wallingford, who confirmed with us that she is safe following the explosions in Boston on Monday that left three dead and scores injured.
"My family is safe and accounted for, luckily we were not in the area when the incident occurred," Keenan wrote to Wallingford Patch.
She also left a personal note on our Facebook page.
