The single most pressing issue facing our town/district is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

Responsible Spending: As a steward of your money, I will work to maintain a reasonable mill rate, while balancing the needs and wants of our citizens.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

Working at my family's business, I have the experience and background of starting a business from a vacant lot to it becoming a profitable entity, employing 40 individuals. With this, comes an understanding of the needs of local businesses, how government can encourage growth, and the importance of budgets and fiscal responsibility.

List other issues that define your campaign platform:

No matter your political affiliation, I will represent all citizens and businesses with a common-sense approach.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

My record on the Zoning Board of Appeals reflects a respectful concern for citizens and the requirements of the Town. My time as Vice-Chair of the Charter Revision Commission reflects my results-oriented approach and ability to lead a politically diverse group. In addition, I have an impeccable record of financial and bookkeeping experience with my job.

The best advice ever shared with me was ...

Listen to people. Always try to understand things from a different perspective.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I am dedicated to maintaining the things we love about Wallingford, but also recognize that we must not become complacent. I hope to help improve our Town, through responsible budgets and listening to the needs of the people.
