WALLINGFORD, CT — The 2021 municipal election is heating up in Wallingford with plenty of races on the ballot.
Voters will head to the polls Tuesday, Nov. 2 and cast their ballots for the position of mayor, along with seats on the Town Council and Board of Education.

The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:
As related to the Board of Education- -Complete facilities study issues and begin construction -Better test scores -Further accommodate needs of multi-lingual needs of our diverse groups of children
Critical differences between me and my opponents:
My 20 + years of experience on the Board of Education and my 50-year career in Education as a teacher and administrator.
Accomplishments:
Have been Chairman for two terms, Vice-Chairperson, and and Secretary. Have been part of the negotiating teams for 9 unions. Vocal member of the Board putting students needs first
Other issues:
Continue pathways to manufacturing and our positive relationship with Goodwin College. Continue community partnerships Assist new Central Office personnel with my experiences on the Board of Education for the last 20 years.
What else would you like voters to know about you?
-Father of three children-2 of whom are educators and 1 who is Special Needs, so I have not only a special interest with children with special needs but also experience with promoting the best educational and emotional issues with this population. -Five grandchildren-Triplets who are Sophomores at MTS and two who live in Massachusetts. One a Sophomore and the other in 6th grade.
