WALLINGFORD, CT — The Wallingford Town Council recently repealed a “Blue Law” that limited the hours bars and restaurants in town could sell alcohol on Sundays, according to the Record-Journal.

The Record-Journal reported that bars and restaurants will be allowed to serve alcohol from 10 a.m. Sunday to 1 a.m. Monday once the repeal goes into effect, which is 21 days after the Town Clerk publishes a legal notice about the change.

Wallingford previously followed the “Blue Law” that mandated bars can’t be open before 11 a.m. or after 11 p.m. on Sundays, according to the Record-Journal.
