Wallingford Finishes Fiscal Year with Surplus
The town recently released audit results.

The town of Wallingford finished the 2013-14 fiscal year with an operational surplus of $760,000, according to the New Haven Register.
The town recently released the results of the audit for the fiscal year, which runs from July 1 to June 30, and Wallingford had revenues of $146.23 million compared to expenditures of $145.47 million.
Wallingford also reduced its debt load by $4.48 million to $37.98 million, which was a result of the town not issuing bonds last year because $9.4 million in bonding for several school projects has already been authorized and will be issued sometime in the next few months, according to the Register.
