Wallingford Health Director Resigns For Job In Florida: Report
Wallingford's health director was recently appointed to a position with the Florida Health Department.
WALLINGFORD, CT — Wallingford is looking for a new Health Director after Stephen Civitelli resigned earlier this month to take a position as the administrator for the Florida Department of Health’s Volusia County office, according to the Record-Journal.
The Record-Journal reports Chief Sanitarian Vanessa Bautista has been appointed interim health director and Mayor William W. Dickinson Jr. expects the town’s hiring process to be completed within two to three months.
Civitelli’s resignation was effective April 6, but it wasn’t formally announced to the Town Council and the position hasn’t been posted, according to the Record-Journal.
