Wallingford To Hold 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony
The town will hold a remembrance ceremony to commemorate the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on Monday, Sept. 11.
WALLINGFORD, CT — The town will hold a remembrance ceremony to commemorate the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on Monday, Sept. 11.
The 9-11 Remembrance Ceremony will take place at 6:30 p.m. in front of the Wallingford Town Hall, Mayor William W. Dickinson Jr. announced.
“Citizens are invited to attend the Remembrance Ceremony and gather together to honor and pay tribute to all those affected by the events of September 11, 2001,” officials wrote in a news release. “The Program will include posting of the Colors, students from Lyman Hall and Mark T. Sheehan High School as speakers as well as other meaningful tributes.”

In case of inclement weather, the program will be held in the Robert F. Parisi Town Council Chambers.
The event is sponsored by the Wallingford Fire Department, Wallingford Police Department and Public Celebrations Committee.
