Wallingford To Host Veterans Day Ceremony Thursday

The town will honor its veterans with by closing all town buildings and hosting a ceremony at Dag Hammarskjold Middle School.

WALLINGFORD, CT — Wallingford Town Offices will be closed Thursday in honor of Veterans Day, the town announced. Town offices will resume normal business hours on Friday.

On Thursday, Wallingford will also host a Veterans Day ceremony at Dag Hammarskjold Middle School at 106 Pond Hill Road. Led by David Gessert, the ceremony will feature an invocation by Rev. Dean Warburton of First Congregational Church in Wallingford, remarks from Mayor William Dickinson Jr. and Fire Marshal Michael Gudelski, a placement of service flags, and patriotic songs and prayers.
