Wallingford Man Accused Of Child Porn Possession Arrested Again: Guilford PD
A 53-year-old Wallingford man was arrested again on Monday and faces new charges, the Guilford Police Department announced.
GUILFORD, CT — A 53-year-old man who was arrested on March 1 and charged with first-degree possession of child pornography was arrested again on Monday on a warrant that charged him with criminal violation of a restraining order; voyeurism; eavesdropping; first-degree stalking; electronic stalking; and risk of injury to a minor, according to the Guilford Police Department.
Barna Lengyel, also known as Bruno Banani, of Wallingford, was processed in New Haven for the arrest on Monday and held on an additional $250,000 bond for the new charges, police said in a news release.
The charges are the result of an ongoing investigation into what was initially reported to be a harassment complaint against Lengyel by an acquaintance, police said.

"The victim reported to be in a dating relationship with Lengyel, who was supporting the victim’s family financially in exchange for that relationship," police said.
"Prior to filing a complaint, the victim discovered that Lengyel had placed a camera in the victim’s residence to surreptitiously record the victim’s bedroom," police added. "Additionally, the victim found that Lengyel was in possession of an intimate photograph that had been taken...without the victim’s knowledge."

Police said the victim obtained a full restraining order against him.
During the investigation, search warrants were executed at Lengyel’s place of business, and his residence in Wallingford.
Officers seized devices that yielded child pornography referenced in the March 1 arrest, as well as evidence of voyeurism related to the latest charges, police said.
Lengyel was given a $500,000 court-set bond on March 1.
Police said the investigation remains active. Anyone with information related to this investigation should contact the GPD's detective unit at 203-453-8061.
