Wallingford Man Arrested for Allegedly Hiding 20 Bags of Heroin Between His Buttocks

A Wallingford man faces drug charges after allegedly trying to hide 20 bags of heroin between his buttocks.
West Hartford police arrested James Craig Fornal, 24, of Ridgetop Rd. in Wallingford, on July 24 following a motor vehicle stop.
According to police, Fornal was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Nicholas James Sabo, 22, also of Wallingford, and was searched after probable cause was established.

During the search, Fornal was found to allegedly have 20 bags of heroin between his butt cheeks and drug paraphernalia in his cigarette box, according to police.
Fornal was charged with illegal possession of narcotics, conspiracy to commit/illegal possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, and tampering with or fabricating evidence. He was held in lieu of a $5,000 bond.

The driver, Sabo, of Brockett Rd. in Wallingford, was also arrested. He is accused of having a needle tourniquet and two snorting straws in his possession, according to police.
Sabo was charged with conspiracy to commit/illegal possession, restricted turns fail signal, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was held in lieu of a $1,500 bond.
Both are scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 7.
