Wallingford Man Arrested On Child Pornography Charge: Police
Detectives found more than 80,000 images and videos depicting child pornography on the man's electronic devices, according to police.
WALLINGFORD, CT — A Wallingford man has been arrested on a child pornography charge in connection with an investigation that was launched last November, according to police.
Eric Delcavo, 26, was arrested on a warrant by members of the Wallingford Police Detective Division and Community Impact Unit, according to Lt. Stephen Jaques.
Jaques said police received a complaint of a sexual assault on Nov. 18, which initiated an investigation into Delcavo.

During the investigation, Jaques said detectives executed a search-and-seizure warrant on Delcavo’s residence for cell phones and computers believed to contain evidence of the crime.
Jaques said detectives found more than 80,000 images and videos depicting child pornography, “many of which have been linked to child victims identified by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children” on the devices.

Delcavo was arrested and charged with first-degree possession of child pornography. He was held in lieu of a $500,000 bond and was arraigned on Friday.
