Wallingford Man Killed, Passenger Seriously Injured in Bristol Motorcycle Crash: Police
The collision between a Waste Management truck and the motorcycle occurred Friday afternoon.

Bristol, CT — A 49-year-old Wallingford man was killed, and his passenger injured, in a motorcycle collision with a Waste Management truck Friday afternoon in Bristol, according to police.
Raymond Smith was pronounced dead at Bristol Hospital following the 1:41 p.m., and Wallingford resident Allison Vandermaelen, 41, is listed in critical condition at Hartford Hospital, reports the Meriden Record-Journal.
The crash occurred at the intersection of South Street and East Road when the truck made a left onto East Road and hit the motorcycle, according to police, who are continuing to investigate the collision.
