Wallingford Man Stole $570+ of Baby Formula: Westport PD
He was captured with the help of Fairfield Police.

WESTPORT, CT — A Wallingford man was arrested after he shoplifted $573 worth of baby formula from the Walgreens on Post Road East, according to police.
Police took the complaint in February. They learned in March that Fairfield Police had arrested a man for shoplifting Red Bull energy drinks from a CVS store, police said. Police checked his photograph and realized he was the suspect in the Westport shoplifting incident.
Westport Police took custody of Troy Amarante, 40, from Branford Police on June 13. He was charged with sixth-degree larceny and was held on a $25,000 bond.
