Wallingford Manufacturer to Relocate to Hamden
Precision Grinding Solutions officials expect move to be complete later this year.
A Wallingford manufacturer is capitalizing on Hamden’s Business Incentive Program and will be making the move from its current location in the North Plains Industrial complex to Corporate Ridge off Sherman Avenue in Hamden later this year, according to the New Haven Register.
The Register reports that Precision Grinding Solutions will begin making property improvements in the spring but it has already begun installation of its equipment in preparation of the move.
Hamden Economic Development Director Dale Kroop told Kate Ramunni of the Register that the relocation will result in about $200,000 in capital improvements and $1 million in personal property investment, which will eventually be added to the town’s tax rolls.
