Wallingford McDonald’s Announces Grand Reopening Celebration

The original restaurant was demolished about three months ago and has been rebuilt with two drive-thru lanes and a new playscape.

Wallingford, CT — The McDonald’s in Wallingford will host its Grand Re-Opening Celebration on Thursday, July 7 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the restaurant located at 608 North Colony Road.

As part of the celebration, McDonald’s Owner/Operator Ted Zafiris will host a Flag Raising and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.

Special guests include Wallingford Mayor William W. Dickenson, Jr., Midstate Chamber of Commerce President Sean Moore, Senator Len Fasano, the Lyman Hall High School Band, along with McDonald’s Chief Happiness Officer, Ronald McDonald.

Customers can join in on the celebration along with other fun activities for the whole family.
