Wallingford McDonald's To Close This Week

The restaurant will be rebuilt and reopen with a two-lane drive-thru.

WALLINGFORD, CT – The reconstruction of the new McDonald’s on North Colony Road is set to begin soon and the existing restaurant will close on Friday at 10 p.m. to prepare for the rebuild, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.

The Meriden Record-Journal reports that McDonald’s will be offering free coffee all day on Friday as a “thank you” to its customers.

The rebuilt restaurant, which will likely open in June, will be smaller to allow for a two-lane drive-thru and feature a new playscape with newer tubes and a video game station and a lighted area for design play, according to the Record-Journal.
