Wallingford Missing Child Case Now Homicide Investigation: Report
A missing child cold case in Wallingford has been reclassified as a homicide investigation.
WALLINGFORD, CT — A more than 30-year-old missing child case has been reclassified as a homicide investigation by the state’s attorney’s office, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.
The Record-Journal reports that Wallingford police are investigating a suspect related to the disappearance of 12-year-old Doreen Jane Vincent, who has never been found after her father said she ran away from his home on Whirlwind Hill Road in June 1988. Police expect to submit an arrest warrant related to the case possibly within the next year, according to the Record-Journal.
