Wallingford Officials Work to Keep Bristol-Myers Jobs in Town: Report
Bristol-Myers Squibb plans to close its Wallingford facility in 2018 and relocate up to 500 employees to a new location in the state.

With Bristol-Myers Squibb set to close its Wallingford facility in 2018, town officials have been meeting regularly with representatives of the company in hopes that it will maintain a presence in Wallingford, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.
In the June announcement that it planned to close the Research Parkway facility in early 2018, Bristol-Myers Squibb said that up to 500 employees would be relocated to a new location in the state. That site has yet to be determined.
The Record-Journal reports there are two companies interested in building another facility in Wallingford for Bristol-Myers Squibb to lease.
