Police say Guiliano has admitted that Farmer provided him with the 2 pounds of marijuana. Farmer is a convicted felon who has a previous conviction for possession of over 4 ounces of marijuana, which occurred in 2011 in Groton.
The recovered handgun, a Colt Mustang .380 caliber was registered to Jeffrey Kosky, 50, who resides at 55 River Lane in Deep River.
Kosky was interviewed and admitted to police that he had sold the Colt handgun to a subject, later identified as Thomas Russo, 26, who is a convicted felon and has multiple pending cases.
Arrest warrants were obtained for Kosky, Farmer, and Russo for their involvement in the illegal gun transactions.
On June 3, Kosky turned himself in at the Wallingford Police Department and was charged with illegal transfer of a firearm. He was released on a $50,000 bond and his case is pending at Meriden Superior Court.
On June 16, Russo was brought to Meriden Superior Court by the Department of Corrections (DOC). Russo is currently being held at the Northern Correctional Facility on unrelated charges. Russo was processed at court and charged with the illegal transfer of a firearm and criminal possession of a firearm. He was released back to the custody of DOC.
On Sept. 14, Farmer turned himself in at the Wallingford Police Department and was charged with illegal transfer of a firearm, criminal possession of a firearm, sale of marijuana, and possession of over 4 ounces of marijuana. Farmer was released on a $50,000 bond and is scheduled to appear at Meriden Superior Court on Sept. 25.
