Recent arrests by the Wallingford Police Department. All charges are allegations and not convictions.
WALLINGFORD, CT — The following information has been provided by the Wallingford Police Department and does not indicate convictions:
Johana Colon, 34, of Wallingford, was arrested June 5 on charges of third-degree criminal trespass and sixth-degree larceny. She was released on a promise to appear in court on Aug. 24, according to state judicial records.
Adrienne Thomasine Samen, 37, of Wallingford, was arrested June 8 on charges of interfering with officer/resisting and disorderly conduct. She was released on a promise to appear in court on Aug. 11.

Robert E. Peterson, 68, of East Haven, was arrested June 10 on a charge of violation of protective order. He was released after posting a $5,000 bond with a court date of Aug. 10.
Carlos Alberto Lopez-Tomas, 21, of Madison, was arrested June 10 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol/drugs, operating vehicle under suspension – alcohol, operating unregistered motor vehicle, improper turn/stop – no signal and improper use – marker/license/registration. He was released after posting a $10,000 bond and a re-arrest order was issued on June 24. He was additionally charged with two counts of second-degree failure to appear and a re-arrest order was issued on July 18.

Eutychus Macharia Kangarua, 47, of Waterbury, was arrested June 10 on a charge of fourth-degree sexual assault. He was released after posting a $10,000 bond with a court date of July 26.
Desmond D. Mayers, 45, of Wallingford, was arrested June 10 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol/drugs and failing to stop in construction/utility zone. He was released after posting a $1,500 bond with a court date of Aug. 5.
Tyler C. Sears, 32, of Wallingford, was arrested June 11 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol/drugs, failure to drive upon right and operating vehicle while holding telephone/electronic device/txt. He was released after posting a $2,500 bond with a court date of Aug. 9.
Michael Marquardt, 23, of Wallingford, was arrested June 12 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol/drugs and failure to drive in proper lane. He was released after posting a $1,000 bond with a court date of Aug. 25.
Mary Helen Sherman, 50, of Coventry, was arrested June 13 on charges of third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace. She was released on a promise to appear in court on Sept. 29.
Wendy Ream, 61, of Meriden, was arrested June 14 on charges of second-degree breach of peace and third-degree assault – victim elderly or other. She was released after posting a $2,500 bond with a court date of July 27.
Charles E. Mapes, 54, of Wallingford, was arrested June 15 on charges of second-degree criminal trespass, second-degree threatening, third-degree criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. He was released after posting a $5,000 bond with a court date of July 28. He was also charged on June 16 with second-degree threatening and released on a promise to appear in court on July 28.
Stuart A. Kosnoff, 66, of Wallingford, was arrested June 15 on a charge of second-degree breach of peace. He was released on a promise to appear in court on Aug. 18.
Miguel Oropeza, 28, of Wallingford, was arrested June 17 on a charge of operating under the influence of alcohol/drugs. He was released after posting a $1,500 bond with a court date of Aug. 18.
Dionnette Caban, 48, of Wallingford, was arrested June 18 on a charge of operating under the influence of alcohol/drugs and evading responsibility – physical injury. She was released after posting a $2,500 bond with a court date of Aug. 16.
