Wallingford Police Blotter: April 8 Through April 16, 2026
Recent arrests by the Wallingford Police Department. All charges are allegations and not convictions.
WALLINGFORD, CT — The following information has been provided by the Wallingford Police Department and does not indicate convictions:
Pawel Rembiszewski, 33, of New Britain, was arrested April 8 on charges of third-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny, and criminal attempt to commit third-degree larceny. He was being held in lieu of a $100 bond with a court date of May 11, according to state judicial records.
Kevin M. Staples, 29, of Wallingford, was arrested April 8 on charges of second-degree threatening, second-degree reckless endangerment, and second-degree breach of peace. He was released on a promise to appear in court on June 25.

Joel A. Chaparro, 32, of Meriden, was arrested April 8 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol / drugs and traffic control signals. He was released after posting a $5,000 bond with a court date of May 21.
Khawaja Hameed, 44, of Branford, was arrested April 8 on a charge of conspiracy to commit sale of controlled substance – non narcotic / hallucinogen. He was released after posting a $2,500 bond with a court date of May 13.

Cole M. Smiles, 34, of Wallingford, was arrested April 9 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol / drugs, failure to drive in proper lane, and evading responsibility – injury / property damage. He was released on a promise to appear in court on May 21.
Jacqueline Gerena, 42, of Wallingford, was arrested April 9 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol / drugs, traveling unreasonably fast, and failure to drive upon right. She was released after posting a $1,000 bond with a court date of May 1.
Enrico Maturo, 55, of Meriden, was arrested April 12 on a charge of sixth-degree larceny. He was being held in lieu of a $2,500 bond with a court date of May 15.
Keyla M. Perez-Giron, 26, of Meriden, was arrested April 12 on a charge of sixth-degree larceny. She was released on a promise to appear in court on May 26.
Caitlin A. Konopelski, 25, of Wallingford, was arrested April 14 on two counts of third-degree assault and one count of second-degree breach of peace. She was released after posting a $2,500 bond with a court date of June 25.
Dale T. Mangino, 42, of Middletown, was arrested April 16 on two counts each of violation of protective order and second-degree harassment. He was being held in lieu of bonds totaling $30,000 with a court date of May 13.
