Wallingford Police Blotter: Aug. 26 Through Sept. 2, 2026

Recent arrests by the Wallingford Police Department. All charges are allegations and not convictions.

WALLINGFORD, CT — The following information has been provided by the Wallingford Police Department and does not indicate convictions:

Christopher M. Barton, 31, of Southington, was arrested Aug. 26 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol / drugs, following too closely – with accident, operating without insurance, and operating under suspension. He was released after posting a $10,000 bond with a court date of Oct. 13, according to state judicial records.

Freedom Almighty Born, 49, of Hamden, was arrested Aug. 27 on a charge of sixth-degree larceny. He was being held in lieu of a $2,500 bond with a court date of Oct. 7.

Jose M. Diaz, 30, of New Britain, was arrested Aug. 27 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol / drugs and operating an unregistered motor vehicle. He was released after posting a $10,000 bond with a court date of Oct. 20.

Anthony V. Misurale, 62, of East Haven, was arrested Aug. 27 on charges of illegal possession of weapon in motor vehicle, possession of controlled substance – first offense, failure to wear safety belt, and use of drug paraphernalia. He was released after posting a $10,000 bond with a court date of Oct. 23.

Catherine O. Jortner, 45, of Berlin, was arrested Aug. 27 on charges of fourth-degree larceny, possession of controlled substance – third offense, and use of drug paraphernalia. She was released after posting a $15,000 bond. She has pleaded not guilty to the charges and has a pre-trial court date of Oct. 20.

Thomas J. Biroscak, 68, of Meriden, was arrested Aug. 28 on a charge of operating under the influence of alcohol / drugs. He was released after posting a $1,500 bond with a court date of Oct. 22.

Denise L. Scozzafava, 62, of Middletown, was arrested Aug. 28 on charges of second-degree criminal trespass and sixth-degree larceny. She was released after posting a $2,500 bond with a court date of Oct. 5.

Brian L. Austin, 38, of Meriden, was arrested Aug. 29 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol / drugs and traffic control signals. He was released after posting a $1,500 bond with a court date of Oct. 5.

Brian A. Osborne, 50, of Meriden, was arrested Aug. 31 on charges of third-degree assault and risk of injury to child. He was released on a promise to appear in court on Oct. 8.

Richard T. Boiano, 43, of Waterbury, was arrested Aug. 31 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol / drugs and possession of controlled substance – first offense. He was released after posting a $2,500 bond with a court date of Oct. 15.

Isander A. Robles, 30, of Springfield, Massachusetts, was arrested Sept. 1 on charges of organized retail theft less than $1,000, third-degree larceny, and conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny. He was released after posting a $25,000 bond with a court date of Sept. 22.

Matthew S. McMahon, 54, of Wallingford, was arrested Sept. 1 on charges of third-degree assault and risk of injury to child. He was released on a promise to appear in court on Oct. 5.

Steven J. Gildersleeve, 40, of Wallingford, was arrested Sept. 2 on eight counts of violation of protective order. He was released after posting a $10,000 bond with a court date of Oct. 16.

Tiffany Mennillo, 39, of Bridgeport, was arrested Sept. 2 on charges of second-degree identity theft, sixth-degree larceny, and less than $500 on revoked payment card. She was released after posting a $10,000 bond with a court date of Nov. 10.

Arturo Gonzalez Posadas, 51, of Meriden, was arrested Sept. 2 on a charge of fourth-degree sexual assault. He was released after posting a $10,000 bond with a court date of Oct. 21.
