WALLINGFORD, CT — Lt. Samuel Soukup of the Wallingford Police Department was one of 41 attendees from Connecticut and Massachusetts police departments to complete a comprehensive 10-week course of instruction for police commanders.
The “Command Officers Development Course” is a program created by the University of Louisville and the class was held for the 76th time, but it was the first time it was held in New England, according to Wallingford Police.
Hosted by the West Hartford Police Department, the 41 attendees from Connecticut and Massachusetts police departments engaged in discussion, critical thought, and projects relative to the “contemporary and professional manner in which police services are delivered today.”
