Wallingford Public Schools Adjust Schedule For Thursday

The heatwave isn't over yet.

WALLINGFORD, CT — Wallingford Public Schools will be operating on a two-hour early release schedule on Thursday, Sept. 6, Superintendent of Schools Dr. Salvatore Menzo announced. There will be no after school activities, including middle school sports and the YMCA program, according to Menzo.

“Modified high school athletic practices and marching band rehearsals may be held,” Menzo said in an email to parents. “Information will come from the coaches as provisions are being made to ensure the safety of all students. While the health and well-being of all students and staff are very important to us, we also know that any changes in schedules impact families. We appreciate your support.”
