The Hartford Foundation for Public Giving has selected Britt-Marie K. Cole-Johnson to join its newly formed Board of Ambassadors.

The Hartford Foundation for Public Giving (the “Foundation”) has selected Robinson+Cole lawyer Britt-Marie K. Cole-Johnson to join its newly formed Board of Ambassadors. Ms. Cole-Johnson was personally chosen by the Foundation’s Board of Directors and Board Development Committee because of her “experience and interest in the Greater Hartford community.”

At Robinson+Cole, Ms. Cole-Johnson counsels boards of directors, senior management, and human resources professionals in all areas of employment law, with a focus on sensitive, high-risk personnel issues and investigations as well as on compliance and training.

The Foundation serves 29 towns, hundreds of nonprofits, and more than 750,000 residents. Functioning as an ad hoc committee of the Foundation’s Board of Directors, the Board of Ambassadors will help the Foundation “carry out its mission of putting philanthropy into action to create lasting solutions that result in vibrant communities.” A primary responsibility of members of the Board of Ambassadors will be to participate in discussions about key initiatives of the Foundation and emerging issues in the community.
