Wallingford Resident Michael Kolakowski and KBE Building Corporation Honored

KBE Building Corporation of Farmington was honored recently with a 2015 Business Champion Award for its role in community involvement. The annual Business Champions Awards, produced in partnership by the MetroHartford Alliance and Hartford Business Journal, celebrate the achievements of the greater Hartford region’s privately held companies in several areas. KBE was honored for its “Fifty Ways to Make a Difference” community service campaign, which began in 2009 to celebrate the company’s 50th anniversary and continues today, as well as for its annual events that help the community and engage its staff.
