Wallingford Resident Named To NE-10 Women’s Soccer Weekly Honor Roll

WALLINGFORD, CT — Wallingford’s Kelsey Burr, a graduate student on the Southern Connecticut State University women’s soccer team, was named to the Northeast 10 Conference Weekly Honor Roll, officials announced Monday.

Burr, a Sheehan graduate, led Southern with a goal and an assist during a 1-0-1 week for the Owls.

Against Southern New Hampshire, Burr helped the Owls come back from a 2-0 deficit, setting up the game-tying goal in a 2-2 tie.

In a 2-0 win against American International, Burr scored her third goal of the season to give the Owls a two-goal lead.
