The resident won $20,000 on a Mega Millions ticket that was sold at Cumberland Farms at 207 South Main Street in Torrington, according to Lottery officials.

The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
