Wallingford Resident Wins Free Dunkin’ Coffee For A Year

WALLINGFORD, CT — A Wallingford resident won free Dunkin’ coffee for a year as part of an event celebrating the return of the company’s “Sip. Peel. Win.” promotion. Jim Walters, of Wallingford, was surprised with the prize at the event, which was held at the Dunkin’ store at 11011 North Colony Road in Wallingford, on Tuesday, Aug. 27.

Connecticut-based “social media influencers” Aubrey Yandow, known on Instagram as @thecoastalconfidence, and Kallie Branciforte of the "But First, Coffee” blog (@kallie_branciforte), hosted the event, according to Dunkin’ officials. During the event, which ran from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., all guests received a $5 Dunkin’ gift card to enjoy a free coffee and “Sip. Peel. Win.” with the influencers in front of a giant topiary that spelled out D-U-N-K-I-N. Along with other giveaways, Dunkin’ franchisee Erica Rocha helped surprise Walters with free Dunkin’ coffee for a year.

The “Sip. Peel. Win.” Promotion runs through Sept. 24 or while supplies last.
