Wallingford Schools Make Decision On School For Friday

WALLINGFORD, CT — A powerful and quick moving winter storm dropped between 6 and 12 inches of snow on the area Thursday, which is leading to a second straight day off from school for students.

Wallingford Public Schools posted: “After consultation with the Wallingford Public Works Department, it has been determined that Wallingford Public Schools will be closed on Friday, January 5th. All offices will also be closed on Friday, January 5th.”

Enjoy the long weekend and be safe as wind chills will be running as low as 20 below zero on Friday and early Saturday. More snow is possible on Monday.
