Wallingford Public Schools will present its re-opening plan to the Board of Education for approval on Thursday.
WALLINGFORD, CT – Wallingford Public Schools will present its re-opening plan to the Board of Education for approval on Thursday.
Wallingford schools will participate in a hybrid model, where some students will go back to school and some students will stay home. Families have the choice to have their students not attend school for in-person learning. Those students will receive remote instruction and will follow a traditional school schedule by participating in a mix of live and recorded sessions.
Following approval by the Board of Education, the plan will be sent out to families on Friday morning.

Families who responded to the school reopening survey on whether they students will return to school with "maybe" will receive another survey to make the final decision for their children by Monday so that class lists and teacher assignments can be finalized.
The State Department of Education will host a virtual house call for parents and families to ask medical experts about COVID-19 and safe strategies for going back to school.
