Every time I go to the Wallingford Animal Shelter, I am awed by the beautiful, lovable fur-kids, who are so excited to see people, it's difficult to snap a great photo. I have great empathy for those who care for these "kids", as it is a heartbreak they have nowhere to call home for the time being, but I share in their glee for the lucky ones who find their loving, forever homes. So many times I get home and say, "Oh if I didn't already have seven!".
Today, I am featuring Spud and George.
Spud is a very special guy...I call him my "perfect specimen!". My fav at the moment. He is a medium sized, young boy; appears to be a mix of Bull Terrier (the beer dog) and Ibizan Hound. An active, loving boy waiting for his perfect home.
George is an adult Bulldog mix. A great, calm guy, with a face you'd want to plant kisses all over. He'd love to lay by your side, maybe take you for a little walk!
Wallingford Shelter is located at 5 Pent Rd, 203-294-2180, applications can be found at petfinder.com or at the shelter. Their pictures are always posted at Yalesville Veterinary Hospital, 322 Church St, Wallingford.
