Wallingford Tattoo Parlor Hosting Event to Benefit Endangered Species
Tattoo International holding 'Earth's Big 6 on the 6th' on Saturday, Sept. 6 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at 29 North Plains Highway.

A Wallingford tattoo parlor is hosting a special event on Saturday, Sept. 6 to benefit six endangered species, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.
Tattoo International, located at 29 North Plains Highway, will hold “Earth’s Big 6 on the 6th” from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and it will feature raffles, door prizes, food and craft vendors, face painting and a bike show that runs from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and a car show that runs from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The six endangered species the Tattoo International staff decided to help are mako sharks, rhinoceroses, sea turtles, tigers, elephants and the giant panda, according to the Record-Journal.

Each artist created a sheet of special tattoos to represent the animals (see photo, via the company’s Facebook page) and customers can choose any of the images for $60 and a portion of the proceeds will go toward the appropriate conservation effort.
