Wallingford Town Employee Accused of Selling Cocaine Out of His Home

Police also seized $10,000 in cash and dozens of guns.

Police say Jeffrey Riccardi, 43, of Brown Street in Middletown, who is an active Wallingford Public Works Department employee, has been accused of selling cocaine out of his home, reports Alex Gecan, of the Middletown Press.

Police found 14 grams of cocaine, dozens of firearms, and $10,000 in cash, Gecan reports.

Despite this discovery, a Wallingford official tells the Middletown Press that Riccardi is an active town employee.

Riccardi had received in 2013 a 10-day suspension for violating the town’s alcohol and controlled substance abuse police, the Middletown Press reports.

Police have been been investigating Riccardi since April.
