The Wallingford Planning and Zoning Commission encourages all interested members of the community to participate in the online survey that has been issued to assist the Commission as it prepares an update to the Wallingford Plan of Conservation and Development (POCD).
POCDs are guidance documents that set policy priorities for the future of a community – physically, economically, environmentally and socially. POCDs contain goals and visions along with recommended actions to help work towards achieving those goals.

The planning process involves engaging the community in a dialogue on its future, and the survey is a first step in having that community-wide discussion.
The 2015 Wallingford Community Survey intends to gather information from residents, business-owners and commuters to Wallingford on the current and future quality of life, housing and business development, community services, and conservation in Wallingford.

The POCD Steering Committee will also notify the community as it holds public workshops and meetings throughout the planning process, which is expected to continue throughout the rest of the year.
