Waterbury Man Arrested in Connection with 2015 Burglary in Wallingford: Cops

The suspect allegedly broke into a home on Meadow Street.

WALLINGFORD, CT — Waterbury resident Christian Ayala, 20, was arrested on a warrant Tuesday in connection with the burglary of a Meadow Street home in Wallingford in June 2015, according to police.

The Meriden Record-Journal reports that police were able to identify Ayala as a suspect based in part on fingerprints from an iPad he allegedly stole from the home that he later sold.

He was charged with second-degree burglary, fifth-degree larceny, and conspiracy, and was released on a promise to appear in court on Aug. 17. Ayala reportedly also agreed to GPS monitoring while he awaits his court date.
