Weather Impacts Wallingford Football Schedule

With inclement weather in the forecast, tonight’s Foran at Lyman Hall and Sheehan at Guilford football games have been postponed.

Foran and Lyman Hall will play at 10 a.m. on Saturday in Wallingford, while Sheehan travel to Guilford for a 6 p.m. game.

The National Weather Service has issued a “Hazardous Weather Outlook” for New Haven County as “thunderstorms ahead of a cold front late this afternoon and early this evening could produce an isolated damaging wind gust or two.”

Showers and thunderstorms are likely after 5 p.m. and could continue until 9 p.m. Up to a quarter of an inch of rain is predicted, the National Weather Service states. Lingering showers will end after midnight.
