Woman Charged with Leaving 3-Year-Old Alone in Vehicle While She Shopped at Wallingford Wal-Mart
The woman was in the store for about 30 minutes while the child was alone in the car.

A New Haven woman is accused of leaving a 3-year-old child alone in a vehicle while she shopped at Wal-Mart in Wallingford for almost half an hour, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.
The Record-Journal reports that Karem Coca, 32, of Anthony Street in New Haven, was arrested Wednesday afternoon after another Wal-Mart customer saw the child in a car seat alone in the vehicle, which was locked and not running.
Coca, who is related to the child, had another child with her inside the store and both children were turned over to another relative, according to the Record-Journal.
