Woman Hospitalized After 2-Alarm Fire In Wallingford: Reports

The woman was rescued by fire crews on the second floor of the building, according to reports.

WALLINGFORD, CT — A woman was hospitalized after a two-alarm fire Monday night in Wallingford, according to multiple reports, including NBC Connecticut.

NBC Connecticut reports the fire broke out around 7:50 p.m. at an apartment on South Main Street.

The woman was rescued by fire crews on the second floor of the two-story building, which is at the corner of Prince Street and South Main Street, according to WTNH News 8.

WTNH reports the building has a commercial floor that houses Constitution Construction and two residential apartments above the business.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
