Woman Sues Wallingford Catholic School Over Daughter's Bullying: Report
The woman claims the school was negligent in its response and was told her daughter was "too sensitive."

Holy Trinity School in Wallingford is being sued by a local woman who claims her daughter suffered emotional distress and physically harmed herself after being bullied for months by classmates and says the school was negligent in its response, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.
The Record-Journal reports Kimberly Hannigan filed the lawsuit, which names Holy Trinity School Principal Sister Kathleen Kelly and the parent of another student, in New Haven Superior Court on Sept. 29.
The lawsuit alleges that when Hannigan contacted Kelly about the bullying, she was told her daughter is “too sensitive” and in another instance the girl told a priest she was physically harming herself over the bullying and allegedly was told she was doing it because she is a “sinner” and a “bad daughter,” according to the Record-Journal.
