1 Injured In Early-Morning House Fire In Waterford: Reports
A home on Perry Avenue in Watertown sustained major damage in the Saturday morning fire, according to reports.
WATERFORD, CT — A woman was hospitalized Saturday after an early-morning fire swept through a Waterford home, causing significant damage, according to multiple reports.
Authorities were called to a home on Perry Avenue around 5:15 a.m. after receiving a call about a fire, NBC Connecticut reported. Multiple nearby towns provided aid to Watertown firefighters and brought the fire under control in under an hour, the reports said.
A woman was taken to the hospital with injuries, Director of Fire Services Michael Howley told WTNH. The extent of her injuries was unknown.
