4 Charged With Fraud, Fleeing From Police In Waterford: Police
Three New York men and a Bridgeport man were charged following a police pursuit Wednesday afternoon in Waterford.
WATERFORD, CT — Four men were arrested on charges that they committed fraud and fled from police in a Wednesday afternoon incident. Police received a call at 12:50 p.m. Wednesday reporting fraudulent activity at Citizen's Bank on Boston Post Road.
Police responded and found a vehicle they believed was involved in the fraud. Police attempted to stop the car on Clark Lane, but the vehicle sped away, according to a police statement.
Emergency dispatch received a 911 call a short time later reporting a car striking a tree on Fog Plain Road. Police determined this was the same vehicle that fled from officers.

Police arrested four men. Amadeus Johnson, 21, of Bronx, NY, was charged with trafficking in personal identifying information, conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny, interfering with an officer, engaging in pursuit, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, and operating a motor vehicle without a license.
Jemar Spencer, 20, of Bridgeport, was charged with trafficking in personal identifying information, conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny, and interfering with an officer.

Dashawn Caines, 22, of Bronx, NY, was charged with trafficking in personal identifying information, conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny, and interfering with an officer.
Phillip Black, 65, of Bronx, NY, was charged with trafficking in personal identifying information, conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny, and third-degree forgery.
All four men were held on $75,000 cash/surety bond and were scheduled for arraignment in New London Superior Court on Thursday.
