• Info Released On Road Work In New London (patch.com) — Nighttime lane closures are coming to Route 1 between Rope Ferry Road in Waterford and Jefferson Avenue in New London as a state resurfacing project runs from June 24 through July 30. Expect lane closures 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sunday nights through Friday mornings, with police urging drivers to slow down and follow posted signs.
