WATERFORD, CT — When Nick Bosse & The Northern Roots take the stage, and Waterford Beach Park will trade its usual soundtrack of waves and gulls for guitars, powerful vocals and a full dose of New England country.
The free concert begins Wednesday, July 15, at 6 p.m. at Waterford Beach Park, , as part of Waterford’s 2026 Summer Concert Series. The band is scheduled to perform until 8 p.m., giving concertgoers two hours to turn an ordinary Wednesday into a summer night worth remembering.
Nick Bosse is a New England-based singer-songwriter and Nashville recording artist whose country sound is gritty, heartfelt and rooted in classic storytelling. After beginning with local cover gigs in 2013, Bosse formed The Northern Roots, and the band has been traveling and performing with him ever since. His accomplishments include more than 2 million streams for “What Happened To Country,” a New England Music Award and headlining appearances at Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun. .
