On Saturday July 11, Crystal Mall will transform a portion of its exterior into a spectacular outdoor farm when it hosts Kidgits Barnyard Bash. Taking place from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the “H” parking lot outside of Sears, the event will feature a petting zoo, pony rides, a Moon Bounce, arts and crafts and so much more for families to participate in.
“We are excited to host the Kidgits Barnyard Bash, bring all these family-friendly amenities together and create a festive and fun farm atmosphere at Crystal Mall,” commented Debra Botelho, director of marketing and business development for Crystal Mall. “The event has all the elements necessary for families to enjoy a memorable experience that is tailor-made for children.”
The Simon Kidgits Barnyard Bash will feature fun and educational activities associated with animals and all things farm-related. Children can explore the various animals at the petting zoo as well as show off their inner cowboy or cowgirl during pony rides. Rounding out the activities is a thrilling Moon Bounce activity for kids to enjoy as well as arts and crafts. Throughout the event, families can gather information from a variety of vendors including T-Mobile, Gymboree, JCPenney Portrait, VCA New London Animal Hospital, Margaritas of Mystic and Kids Quest of Mohegun Sun.

The event is free for members of the Simon Kidgits Club, a fun and informative program that focuses on health, wellness, education, safety and entertainment for children ages 3-8. To become a member sign up at the event, online at kidgits.simon.com or at Guest Services anytime. The annual membership fee is $5 which provides access to monthly events and scheduled activities, including the Barnyard Bash.
