Coastal Connecticut research, located at 342 Montauk Avenue in New London, CT, is a health care facility specializing in clinical research trials. There is no cost to participate in a clinical research study, no insurance is needed, and reimbursement is available for time and travel. Dr. Robert M. Spitz is the site’s founder and serves as Medical Director. Diane Palmer, RN, serves at the Site Administrator.
Currently, Coastal Connecticut Research is enrolling volunteers for an observational Alzheimer’s study and a study regarding Overactive Bladder in women 65 and older. After the new year volunteers will be needed for studies regarding Constipation, Migraine Headache prevention and Feminine Dryness. Those who wish to participate in the Alzheimer’s study must be men and women who have a recent diagnosis of memory loss or are living in the early stages of memory loss. The Overactive Bladder (OAB) study is seeking women who are 65 or older, and are living with urinary frequency and urge incontinence.
Research studies make a difference in the lives of others by further evaluating treatments for a variety of conditions and diseases. Discoveries are being made each day in medicine.
