Mill Rate For FY 2011 - 2012
The new mill rate, and what it will mean about your next tax bill.
The Waterford Board of Finance has approved a mill rate of 18.79 mills for Fiscal Year 2011 - 2012. Since the current mill rate is 18.04, this means that your real estate tax will increase by 4.16%, provided that there have been no changes to your assessment due to new improvements, changes in exemptions, or assessment appeals. The new tax bills will be mailed by the end of June, with the first half of the real estate tax due by August 1.
