Scam Alert - Credit Card Fraud
Credit card scam alert from spoofed telephone number 503-902-8997.
The Waterford Police has taken a recent scam complaint regarding the following number - 503-902-8997.
If you receive a call from this number, hang up. The number is "spoofed", meaning it is a fake number displayed on your caller ID screen, and could be from anywhere. The caller will ask questions about your credit card, and claim to be able to lower your rates.
The fraudulent company goes by "Credit Card Services", and or "Card Holder Services". Again this is a fraudulent number, and a fraudulent company, "phishing" for information. They do not care if you are on the National "Do not call list", they will call regardless.
